Overview

The Document Control Clerk is a part-time position that quality assures all documentation related to services provided to individuals receiving supports.  Responsibilities include matching data points across documentation for consistency and accuracy, reporting non-compliance with documentation processes and work as a liaison between support & service delivery departments.  This position will also assist with waiver packet processing, data entry and the preparation and presentation of reports.  The successful applicant with will be detail-oriented, work well in teams and have excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  1. Collects and quality assures all network service delivery documentation, assures all services are documented by comparison to scheduled services.
  2. Obtains corrections or clarification of submitted documentation from direct support professionals.
  3. Completes data entry into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) database and reviews documentation for Medicaid service billing accuracy.
  4. Collates and transfers paper records to the Central Records Department when complete.
  5. Assists in meeting internal or external audit requests.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school graduation or GED
  • Two (2) years of progressively responsible office experience    
  • Experience with records, databases, accounting or other business related areas that require stringent deadlines, accuracy and organization
  • Typing speed of 50 wpm and 100 key strokes per minute (ksm) on to-key
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Other

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.from a squat-and-kneel position
  • Possess a valid Alaska driver license and proof of insurance
  • Provide driving record that meets agency guidelines
  • Pass a criminal background check under state regulation
