The Purchasing Assistant provides services to Hope support recipients through their work performing a variety of activities essential to the Agency through the procurement of goods and services, quality assurance, and general office duties. This position is responsible for preparing monthly reports, issuing and processing purchase orders, organizing travel arrangements, monitoring inventory control and completing projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager. The Purchasing Assistant may work directly with individuals supported by the Agency and requires a high degree of customer service with both internal and external customers. This position performs duties with a high degree of accuracy, dependability and professional judgment. The Purchasing Assistant maintains loyalty to the organization, its beliefs, values, mission, vision, and expectations and to the recipients of services.
